Hi, my name is Scott.
When looking for a personal trainer I don’t doubt there are certain things you’d be interested to know about. Things like education, experience, current, and past client results but I’ll get to all that. First of all, here’s a very short story that more or less sums up how I got started to where I am now…
When I started as a personal trainer many years ago I was the smallest male PT in the gym and I felt totally intimidated and overwhelmed by everything (put the violin away, this ends just fine).
On my first day, they didn’t have a uniform that fit me. So, I spent the first week walking around in a T-shirt that was 2 sizes too big. Not the first impression I was hoping to make.
I’ve spent a whole lot of my time studying, reading, listening and trying to learn more and more to be the best I can. However, unknowingly to me at the time, these awkward and uncomfortable first few weeks would turn out to be one of the most important learning experiences in my time as a PT.
The invaluable lesson that this has allowed me to appreciate how it feels to be both the confident, experienced lifter as well as the intimidated newbie.

I grew up very active as a competitive swimmer and went on to study Sport & Exercise Science at The University of Aberdeen.
After that, I moved to Glasgow where I have been ever since, clocking up thousands of hours on the gym floor, working with people towards their fitness goals. I’ve spent even more time behind the scenes providing the best standard of support and accountability I can.
I’ve worked with a large spectrum of different clients. Male and female, from young to older, fat loss to strength and muscle building to people training for marathons.
My belief is that if you are put in an environment that facilitates a process you enjoy, instills self-belief, provides structure, guidance, accountability and is all about you as an individual then you put yourself in the absolute best possible place to achieve your goals.
My goal is to provide that environment for you.
Anyway, that’s me. Let me know how can I help you?
