When I first started out training with Scott I was looking to tone up prior to a holiday and learn a bit more about weight training. I had stuck largely to cardio based workouts as I was never confident enough for classes and found the weights room to be intimidating. I had little idea on how best to structure a workout plan as well as understanding how to perform movements safely and effectively.
NO CLUE WHATSOEVER
I had literally no clue whatsoever. However I knew the only way I would be able to really make any changes to my body shape would be through weight training. I chose to reach out to Scott as he had the credentials and experience I was looking for, I knew I’d be in safe hands.
I was quite daunted at first as I had little confidence in my strength. I couldn’t even do a “real press-up” in my eyes. I was worried about whether or not I’d actually be able to do much of anything as my co-ordination skills are horrendous. Sports were never really my forte. The ultimate challenge for me was being able to build up enough confidence to train with someone but also be able to make the most of my training when I was left to my own devices.
CONFIDENCE
After beginning training with Scott my confidence grew massively. At first I struggled to deal with a busy gym, a weights room full of guys and as a lot women experience at the start, feeling inadequate. I am now able to get in the gym at peak hours and smash out a workout without worrying about anyone else. I learned so much about different exercises and routines that I wasn’t put off if I had to alter workouts due to lack of equipment at peak hours.
A WONDERFUL TRAINER
Scott is a a brilliant Personal Trainer. He is highly knowledgeable actively teaches his clients the reason behind what you are doing. Scott is patient and understands his clients way of learning and alters accordingly. Scott also gives a great documentary recommendations if that’s your thing, a really wonderful trainer that I would recommend to anyone.
